Kentucky MMA Looking To Shine

The summer is drawing to a close and school is starting across the state. As everyone starts to settle back in to a routine Kentucky MMA companies are looking to crank up production on some great events. It seems each promoter is trying to top their last outing, looking to bolster their fight card and looking to bring fans some exciting MMA action.

Hard Rock MMA is kicking things off tonight in Bowling Green with the 39th installment of their great shows. Lets take a look at some other shows coming up that are sure to be a hit with fighters and fans alike.

Last Man Standing
August 19th
Lexington, KY

Last Man Standing is churning along doing amateur events only at this time. They are bringing rising stars to 4 Season and bringing fans great match ups. Jason Jones, a professional fighter in his own right, is match making the cards and this event should do well.

Absolute Action MMA XVII
August 20th
Florence KY

There is no denying that I am a huge fan of AAMMA. Their fighters and fans are some of the best around. They make their return to Florence after a short absence with a host of title fights and professional battles. Billy Donovan has worked through injuries, excuses and the normal drama of putting a show together to bring what truly is a "STACKED" card.

Hard Rock MMA 40
September 3rd
Sheperdsville, KY

Hard Rock has been doing shows for awhile. The reason they are able to do that is because they put people in the seats, treat fighters right and do a great job. Will Hendrickson is on deck to defend his Middleweight Championship. Word is the Hard Rock events in Sheperdsville are usually one of the better shows.

Gruesome MMA 5
September 9th
Pikeville, KY

Gruesome looks to bounce back with an event to be remembered in the largest venue in Eastern Kentucky. Fighters from across the state look to descend upon the East KY Expo Center for a night of amateur and pro fights. With professional fight bonuses and one of the best produced shows in the state this will be one to attend.

Spartan Fighting Championship 9
September 24th
Ashland, KY

Terry Callihan and crew return looking to build on the success of their May 7th show. A top tier promotion with great fighters will equal great results as the Spartan brand looks to grow. It will be hard for Terry to top the last event but he has a way of booking great match ups by connecting with great local talent. His shows are great for the family and no doubt will be a huge success once again.

As of right now Bluegrass MMA is looking to cover ALL of these great shows. MMA in Kentucky can only improve on what is already excellent production and talent. Be sure to follow us for all the great action as the temperatures drop and the competition heats up.
