More About the WV Games

Besides the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling State Championships, the WV Games will also feature several family friendly sporting events as well as the family funzone, presented by the United Way, that will offer rides and games for the whole family to enjoy. This years event also features a FREE after party with live music located at Hadaad Riverfront park, a short walking distance from all of the events. With the addition of our numerous vendors and activities, we feel that this is an event that everyone should try and make part of their schedule because it is very rare that you can keep the entire family entertained while waiting for your chance to hit the mats.

As always, we want all of our competitors to have as much fun as possible, so we offer a well organized tournament that is fair for all and offers a ton of matches at a low price. In fact, each competitor has the chance to compete a minimum of six times, if they compete in their respective divisions in both the gi and no gi tournaments as well as the absolute divisions. We will also offer the chance to become the “true state champion” this year as we will have several divisions placing the top finishers from across other local tournaments together in special divisions. Keep an eye out for continued updates.
