Caged Punishment Charity Show

Bluegrass MMA wants to spread the word about a show coming up next week in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Caged Punishment MMA is hosting a stacked card at the Blackrock Motorcros Park in Leitchfield. The main event features John Ivey vs Nick Sanders and the night is sure to showcase local talent. 

However the April 30th show will be exciting for other reasons than just the fights in the cage. Caged Punishment has taken up a cause and this is something serious. A young boy named Aidan Harris has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. Aidan has already been through alot, coming into this world very premature. He is looking at a very tough 3 years ahead of him. Caged Punishment has pledged portions of the ticket sales as well as proceeds from merchandise sales toward helping ease the financial burden of Aidan's parents.

Bluegrass MMA Sponsoring Absolute Action Female Champ Jessamyn Duke

Little did we know when we scheduled our show earlier this date that we would be in a postion to make the announcement that we made. We have been very fortunate so far to have the support and resources we have. With that being said, Bluegrass MMA is proud to announce our sponsorship of Jessamyn Duke. Jessamyn is the current Absolute Action MMA Women's Champion. Here is how she captured that title.

Intimidation Clothing Title Sponsor at Spartan Fighting Championship 8

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce that they have partnered with the Spartan Fighting Championship promotion as a title sponsor for their May 7th event. SFC 8: Onslaught will be held at the National Guard Armory in Ashland, Kentucky and will feature the Intimidation brand for sale at the event as well as the Intimidation name throughout the night. Intimidation and the Spartan FC worked together once previously with Intimidation as a event sponsor at SFC 5 in July 2010.

SFC 8: Onslaught will be held at the National Guard Armory in Ashland, Kentucky on May 7th at 6 pm ET. The fight card will feature several popular names in the region including pro light heavyweight Jason Butcher as well as Lamont Stafford, Eric Jarvis, Chris “Smoke” Hale and more. With the sponsorship of the Spartan FC event, Intimidation will now be featured at both the Absolute Action MMA and the Spartan event on May 7th as the company continues their strong push throughout the Midwest.

Intimidation Clothing Enters Multi-Fight Sponsorship Deal with Absolute Action

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Northern Kentucky-based Absolute Action MMA on a multi-fight deal. As part of their increased branding efforts across the Midwest, the Intimidation Clothing logo and name will be seen and heard at Absolute Action MMA events throughout the 2011 year including the May 7 event in Florence and the June 4 event at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. The two companies have worked together previously with Intimidation Clothing in attendance as one of the sponsors of the AAMMA: Battle Against Breast Cancer all-female MMA event in October 2010 and has had numerous fighters sponsored at Absolute Action MMA events in the past two years.
“Dr. Patel has built the Absolute Action MMA promotion into one of the top MMA names in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and we are honored to be working with this top-notch organization,” said Luke Jernigan, President & CEO of Intimidation Clothing, LLC. “This fits nicely into our expansion efforts across the Midwest as we look to increase brand awareness and build on the tremendous success we have experienced thus far in 2011.”

The agreement between Intimidation and Absolute Action MMA begins with their May 7 event in Florence, Kentucky and features a card with notables Chris Bennett, Marcus Finch, George Oiler, Shaun Asher, Eric Moell and more. The AAMMA 13 event will be held at the Midwest Sports Complex in Florence with the fights starting at 7 pm ET and airing online GoFightLive.com.

Bluegrass MMA Forums

So in trying to stay in tune with our readers and followers we have introduced a new section on the site. Bluegrass MMA forums is now up and running. You will just need to create an account for Pro Boards, log in and type away. This is just another tool for our fans to get back with us or merely talk amongst themselves. I have posted a generic first thread but have already created a list for upcoming discussion topics.

Here is a chance for all of us to talk back and forth on things we want to talk about. Fighter can talk fights, fans can talk fighters and companies can get in an see what the buzz & gossip is.
