Tommy Shull and crew have a huge event planned THIS Saturday night at the National Guard Armory in Marion, Kentucky. After talking with the good folks at Iron Man last night on Bluegrass MMA Live it is very clear that they are in the business for all the right reasons. When someone tells you that money was never their motive but to just put on good quality local fights it makes people like myself proud to be associated with MMA in Kentucky. This event however is a bit currency driven as the group is trying to raise money for funeral expenses for Ricky (Bobby) Hackney, a local resident who as passed away. John Ivey headlines the card as he looks to capture yet another title as he battles Bobby Favors for the vacant Super Heavyweight championship.
