UFC 132 Predictions

I love the UFC. It may not seem that way anymore because I am very much focused on whats going on in Kentucky but we all know without the UFC there would not be a market for MMA. Saturday's card excites me. I will not hide it, I am a huge Tito Ortiz fan. He may be nearing the end of his career but I still have faith in him. What a better way to spend the holiday weekend. Friends, family and a great UFC card.make for a great way to celebrate. Here are my picks for the main card of UFC 132.

Dennis Siver vs Matt Wiman - I really like this match up. Siver is always exciting and has knockout power. Wiman is on a roll with a three fight streak coming into the night. Siver is also riding a three fight win streak after an impressive win over George Sotiropoulos. Siver takes this one but it could be very close.

Carolos Condit vs Dong Hyun Kim- Other than a NC Kim is unbeaten in the UFC. He has ran through the mediocre talent in the welterweight division. Condit has beaten some contenders since his loss to Martin Kampmann in 2009. Another great fight with Condit taking the win and propelling him to fill the void of contenders at 170.

Tito Ortiz vs Ryan Bader-  Bader is tough. He is hungry for a win after losing to Jon Jones. Ortiz is tough and is starving not only for a win but another chance to fight past Saturday night. Ortiz has had some personal issues and has been on a losing streak. Bader is a rising star but not on this night. Ortiz wins and secures at least another fight plus his place in history as one of the greats.

Wanderlei Silva vs Chris Leben - This is main event quality. Leben is so exciting but so unpredictable. Wanderlei is on the down slope of his career. Both are powerful forces and the stand up in this fight will be amazing. You can never count Leben out, ever. This fight should go to Silva in Knockout fashion.

MAIN EVENT
Urijah Faber vs Dominick Cruz
UFC Bantamweight Championship

Bad blood or are these guys frenemys? I will admit I wasn't a big WEC watcher but enjoy this weightclass. Faber has defeated Cruz but it was his last loss since 2007. Cruz has had no problem running throught the competition. After watching his fight with Eddie Wineland I suspect he will have no problem with Faber. Dominick Cruz retains his title and hopefully finishes this fight in exciting fashion.
