The Bigger Picture - Absolute Action MMA and Bluegrass MMA Agree to Charity Venture

Bluegrass MMA was made an offer we could not pass up. Early on we made a statement on Twitter that we would like to sell out Absolute Action MMA 12. We were contacted by Vice President of Operations Billy Donovan with a message that he loved that idea. Dr. Parag Patel, owner/promoter of Absolute Action extended us an offer of using a portion of the ticket sales that we were responsible for towards a charity of our choice. We were humbled by that and agreed. Since then $5 of the tickets we buy and those associated with us buy go toward a cumulative "pot" so to speak. To show our gratitude we will match that dollar for dollar. Our realistic goal is somewhere near the $500 mark. As of right not we are $200 with several more shows to go before we cut it off.

That being said. If your a reader interested in going to an Aboslute Action event, contact us. We can get the tickets for you and $10 of will go to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. We are not jumping on the UFC bandwagon but we do recognize this as a great charity. Coming from a military family this seemed like the obvious choice.

Absolute Action XIV is coming up June 4th from Heritage Hall in Lexington, KY. You can get tickets many ways. Of course we can acquire them for you, tickets are available through Georgetown MMA and always at http://www.aamma.net
