I am not a big Strikeforce fan. Why..just not. Pre-Zuffa I thought the match-making was horrible. I have never been a fan of washed up UFC guys trying to be in the spotlight. Your either on your way to the top or your on your way out. That is why I love amateur and local MMA. These are the guys on the way up and not yet pro's. Fedor Emelianeko had a chance years ago to be the best of the best. He chose the path of least resistance and fought guys who were on their way down. Dan Henderson made a business decision to jump ship from the UFC. He got a big paycheck but he lost that "it" factor. As its playing out I will be the biggest Dan Henderson fan on the planet and screaming the loudest for him to finish off the diminishing aura of The Last Emperor.
The best thing that the main card has to offer is Miesha Tate vs Marloes Coenen. Women's MMA is at times some of the most entertaining combat displays. Zuffa and crew are foolish if they don't see the worth of female athletes. There is no love lost in this battle.
